"What do you think?" Ania asked her husband. She let the new stallion let off a little bit of steam at the end of the lead; after all, he had been pent-up in a trailer for hours. "Was he worth the wait?"
"He looks very nice, you said the breed was only recently offered to the public?"
"Yep, there's only about 30 horses so far that have been sold." Fel turned to Amber.
"What do YOU think?" She shrugged.
"He's pretty." Ania gave the roan's neck a pat.
"Pretty enough to be your new ride?" Amber stood up straight, her mouth open.
"MY new horse?!" Fel grinned.
"Since we retired both of your mounts, you need another horse to ride."
"And since you helped Steil achieve a high rank in his breed, we decided you needed a horse of your own," Ania said.
"He can stay here for free, as long as we retain the breeding rights." The black-haired teenager whooped, startling her new horse a bit, and gave Fel a big hug. She hurried over to Ania and gave her one as well.
The couple headed back into the stallion barn, leaving Amber to connect with her new horse.
